About.

Seasonal, vegcentric recipes.

Joey and Katy live and work in Suffolk. They specialise in seasonal, vegcentric cooking using as much local produce as possible. Together they encapsulate the chef's voice of authority and the home cook's insight and approach; their recipes are speedy, accessible and always put flavour first.

They studied WSET Level 3 and increasingly focus on food & wine paring for vegcentric dishes. In January 2021 they launched Grape Minds - a series of wine tastings and foodie conversations with some inspirational guests from the world of food and wine. Exciting wine pairings play a key role within their menus and private events catering. Read more here.

Katy Taylor.

Katy’s the ultimate flavour queen and the ideas woman. She’s fiercely knowledgable on many global cuisines particularly Thai and Mexican, and is responsible for the wide variety of flavours and influences you’ll find in our recipes. She identifies as a reformed carnivore who now enjoys nothing mare than marinading, roasting, salting, smoking, or charring seasonal vegetables like there’s no tomorrow. She’s been known to ‘ash-roast’ leeks in a fire pit for a ‘Four Allium Salad’…

Organic pet food keeps Katy very busy during the day, but in her spare time she joins Joey as a freelance recipe writer and content creator.

Joey O’Hare.

If Katy’s the ideas woman Joey’s the executor. She’s highly commended from the Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, and obtained her Culinary Arts degree from Westminster Kingsway College. She’s worked as a chef in restaurants, private homes, and food start-ups for over 12 years. In 2015 she had a blast on Masterchef the Professionals, made it to the final twelve, and leapt into the London pop-up scene with her vegcentric supper club Hare on the Hill.

Joey is an expert in fermentation and in vegan cuisine; most recently Joey was Head of Development at allplants, Europe’s fastest growing vegan start-up.
